In the beginning... (Part 1)

Hello. Thanks for checking out my site and my blog. As I begin this process, it's only fitting that I do so by giving you a quick background on me.


I graduated from Greensboro College with a degree in Business Management. As my professional life took off, the last thing on my mind was writing. I'd never written any work of fiction and had only read one book at the time for fun. About a year after graduating, I read my second book for fun. Then a third. Then a fourth.


As the books piled up, I still never considered writing. I was well established in my job in retail and was successful with it. Time marches on, and with it came boredom attached to work. That led to monotony. When the business I worked for pulled out of the area, I took a month off to figure out what I wanted to do. The only thing I knew for sure was that retail work was no longer for me. With no solutions for a new career coming to me, I sat down to write a story to see how it would go. Since I'd always had ideas, why not give it a try? Sadly, I had to go back to work and did so in retail. But I had something now...a goal!


"Victims of the HUNT" was my first story written. It was immediately followed by "The Bones from the Yard." Then another. And another.


I completed seven books before I finally decided to do something with them. Having them sitting on my computer doing nothing was eating away at me. It was time to see what they could become...
